Artist’s Showcase At Lizottes

On Thursday 22/6 Lizottes Newcastle opened its doors to 3 of the Hunters most exciting new artists Paris Grace, RJ Hemsworth and Sunday Morning Sidewalk. 117 people turned out to support the artists and their music and they were not disappointed as the night was action packed from the 3 extremely talented artists.

First up was the Soulful Paris Grace with her band performing huge Vocal songs with soulful feels. Paris and fellow singer Jacinta harmonised and delivered unbelievable vocals that truly touched everyone in the crowd.

Bringing it down 1/2 way through her set Paris shared her original songs with the audience leaving them absolutely amazed.

The woman in red capped it off with Arianna Grande’s dangerous Woman!

Next up was the unbelievably soulful RJ Hemsworth. Ryan delivered his acoustic songs with such passion, love and a voice Years beyond his age that he had the entire crowd captivated from the start. Never have we seen an audience so enchanted by a man and his guitar in Newcastle before.

Almost bringing out the tears Ryan played through his original music about to be recorded at Studios 301 in Sydney and moved onto to some well known hits like Hallelujah and Nothing Compares 2 U.

RJ’s unbelievable voice stunned people the whole night through and he received a standing ovation at the end of his set.

Last but not least was Sunday Morning Sidewalk and their jazz/folk trio playing through covers and originals. Maddie Flowers in her stunning glittery dress brought the house to a halt as things settled down after the two power house performances.

From playing original music about the outback through to sharing stories of the bands coming together, the trio took the listeners on a journey through time resulting in a hoedown version of Hanson’s Mmmbop!

The trio were then joined on stage again by RJ Hemsworth and Paris Grace to see the night out with powerful versions of Times Like These and Valerie.

We are so incredibly proud of the amazing talent that was put on show at Lizottes last night and cannot wait for what the future brings for these three up and coming artists in Newcastle. For more events please check out the National Music Academy Facebook page!
