Live Lounge 11/5 Wrap-Up

Last week we had another one of our Fantastic National Music Academy Live Lounges at Broadmeadow’s favourite bistro ‘The Premier Hotel’! At every live lounge, we encourage our students to hop up onstage and showcase a song they’ve been developing with their NMA tutor. With a friendly audience, all the equipment they need and a real stage to perform on, its a great opportunity to gain experience in performing live! And boy, did the night not disappoint! Several students jumped up and showed the audience what amazing talent we have at the National Music Academy, from new comers to long time students.

Live Lounge regular Lucy Phillips brought her signature energy and skill to the stage, with great renditions of “Big Blonde and Beautiful” from Hairspray The Musical, and “How far will I go” from the Disney film Moana.

Kurtis Long pumped out the electric guitar and sang the Justin Bieber hit “Love Yourself”, and was later joined by his tutor Brian Kjim-Lauratet for a beautiful student/ teacher performance of “I Can’t Help Falling in Love”.

Lilianah Morgaine buy valtrex no rx didn’t disappoint, giving a performance that showed off her vocal talent.

Noah Curry and Olivia Rachukinski joined forces to give us two amazing acoustic songs, showing Noah’s smooth vocal and Olivia’s guitar skills.

Paris Willot, a regular at our live lounges, returned with her signature killer vocals, knocking everyone away with a cover of Adele’s “Hello”.

To keep the Adele train rolling, Claudia Mackay knocked it out of the park with a powerful and grooving cover of “Rolling in the Deep”.

Mikayla Burnham showed up for her second Live Lounge, rocking covers of “Strong” by London Grammar, and Burn from the hit musical Hamilton. As she was doing her work experience with us, she was also doing an amazing job of helping run the night.

If you missed out on that night’s performances, fear not! We have several live streams of the night at our Facebook Page at If you want to perform in the next one it’s in Maitland! Please lock down Thursday the 8th of June at 6:00 in your calendar, and email us at
